Loxone & Apple Home – Integration in HomeKit
Many users also want to operate their Smart Home via Apple Home (HomeKit). Via suitable interfaces and middleware solutions – for example Homebridge with a matching Loxone plugin – selected functions can be integrated into Apple Home. For example, lighting, shading or scenes can also be controlled via the Apple Home app or via Siri.
Important to know: The HomeKit connection is usually via third-party solutions and is currently not an officially certified Apple HomeKit product from Loxone. For professional projects, we therefore always plan all functions primarily directly in the Loxone system – we see the optional connection to Apple Home as a convenient supplement, not as a replacement for the Loxone App.
