When the sun is heating up the room and indoor temperatures rise, shading reacts automatically. Slat angle, height and timing are adjusted so rooms stay cool – without you having to manually readjust everything every day.
In winter, the shading can deliberately open so solar energy enters the house. This allows Loxone to support the heating system – helping you save energy without sacrificing comfort.
In strong wind or severe weather, venetian blinds are protected automatically, for example by moving them up. Depending on sensors and project setup, the logic can be configured so materials and mechanics are protected over the long term.
Of course, you can intervene at any time using a button or the app. Loxone remembers useful states, prevents typical mistakes and continues to work reliably in the background every day – without you having to worry about it.
The control is handled cleanly through Loxone components, depending on the project: Tree (for example Nano 2 Relay / Relay Tree) or Air actuators. This keeps the system stable, maintainable and expandable.
Shading is part of the overall system: combined with heating/cooling, presence, alarm and energy management, it creates real automation sequences – and you notice that immediately in everyday life.
